Ryan Bowen is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played for the Houston Astros and Florida Marlins.
pitched all or part of five seasons from 1991 until 1995.
was originally drafted by the Astros in the first round of the 1986 Major League
spent the next four seasons working his
way up through their farm system before making his
major league debut in 1991.
After pitching parts of two seasons for the Astros, he
was chosen in the 3rd round of the 1992 MLB Expansion Draft by the Florida Marlins, with whom he
spent the next three seasons.
After two additional seasons in the minor leagues, Bowen
retired following the 1997 season.
In regards to sports, Baseball has always been Ryan Bowen's
started playing organized baseball at age 9 and professionally at age 18.
went on to play baseball for 14 years professionally with baseball travels that would take him around the world.
Now after more than 30 years in baseball, Mr. Bowen
