The Nonprofit Organization
, which provides short-term care to children with developmental disabilities living in Larimer, welcomed Russell Baker
and Karin Ruffatto to their dynamic Board.
Russell Baker, Vice President at Cassidy Turley Commercial Real Estate, is a vibrant addition.
As incoming President of Northern Colorado Active
community-driven mentality and ability to pioneer fresh ideas will continually diversify opinions and encourage organizational growth.
"After touring the facility and seeing the incredible support that this organization provides families," explains Baker
, "I felt compelled to offer any support that I could."
Although professionally varied, Respite Care's
Board of Directors is mutually dedicated to belief in the mission that "a child with a disability is a child first and his
challenges are secondary.
This is evidenced by the fact that every Board Meeting occurs within the walls of Respite Care
and begins with one of the children the organization supports sharing a story or accomplishment.
Board Members adhere to a 3-year term.
The hands-on directors serve on a minimum of one sub-committee, in addition to countless voluntary actions to promote the welfare of the organization.
Along with Ruffatto and Baker
, current Board Members include: John Blair- President, Mike Radcliff- Vice-President, Annah Schnaitter- Secretary, Cathy Schott- Treasurer, Amy Maybon, Annie Lilyblade, Cliff Bucholz, Curt Lanham, Deanna McCrery, Jennifer Houska, Katie Zwetzig, Sandra Lundt, and Tara Palmer.
