"The intersection of University Avenue and Segoe Road is a pretty important corner along that corridor," said Russ Kowalski, president of Madison-based GMK Architecture Inc.
Even if a hotel goes on the site, Kowalski
not convinced access will be particularly easy.
Both University Avenue and Segoe Road contain medians and left turn lanes at the intersection, so he
said entering and exiting the potential commercial site might only be viable by right-turn only.
"Maybe the dimensions are not as unfortunate as I think," he
said, "but I'd like to see somebody looking into it."
