Rudy N. Napoleone - Retired International Vice President
Rudy Napoleone, Retired International Vice President, elected by General Executive Board in March 1990. He became a member of Albuquerque, NM Mixed Local 423 in July 1969. and served as Local 423's Secretary and Business Representative for a combined total of 19 years. Employed in projection craft since 1958, Napoleone worked with General Cinema for 27 years.
He served as Secretary of District 5 of the IATSE. He assisted in the creation of Studio Mechanics Local 480 State of New Mexico, served as Alternate Delegate to AFL-CIO Biennial Convention 1991 Detroit, and also in San Francisco in 1993. In 1988, Mr. Napoleone was the recipient of IATSE International Presidents Award.
Mr. Napoleone announced his retirement at the General Executive Board meeting in Calgary, Alberta, on July 28, 2006.
