During the 2012 Presidential Election, Connors served as the station's political reporter covering the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, the debates, and the inauguration.
was one of the lead reporters during the sex abuse scandal involving Jerry Sandusky, and was part of the team that won a Mid-Atlantic Emmy for their continuing coverage.
also won a Mid-Atlantic Emmy for her
role in the team coverage of a deadly gas explosion in Northeast Philadelphia.
In 2012, Connors
was named "News MVP" by the Delaware County Daily Times
Before joining NBC10, Connors worked as a reporter and anchor in Fort Myers/Naples, Florida and Grand Junction, Colorado.
In Florida, she

work by the Associated Press, the Suncoast Emmy Awards, and the Society of Professional Journalists
Connors grew up in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, and interned with the NBC10 Investigators while she was a student at the University of Pennsylvania.

While in college, Connors was a member of Penn's Division I field hockey team that competed in the Ivy League.

Connors graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts in sociology with a concentration in law and society.
She is currently a part-time student at Temple University's Beasley School of Law and is on track to graduate in May 2014.

parents and three siblings, including a twin brother.
She is an active member of the Kyle Ambrogi Foundation, which promotes education and awareness of depression in teens and young adults.
