During the 1970's Mrs. Youngberg returned to college and earned a BA in Elementary Education from the College of Saint Elizabeth
in New Jersey and continued with a MS in Education from Northern Illinois University
These degrees allowed her
to be certified as an Elementary Teacher-K/8 and as Reading and Media Specialists.
She taught elementary school, developed and administered a reading remediation program for young readers, and worked as a school and then Youth Services Librarian in the public sector.
After retiring to Arizona, in 2000 she
happily agreed to reorganize the Summit School Library
and become the school librarian.
