Ronnie A. Ferguson has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Jacksonville Housing Authority since its creation in June 1984.
has worked for more than forty years for the improvement and development of individuals and the community.
has a special love for youth and feels that working with them today is the key to eliminating tomorrow's problems.
Mr. Ferguson credits religion, education, civic and civil rights involvement with keeping him out of trouble and giving him life-long direction as a teen growing up in New York City's public housing.
And so, he gives back to his community by overseeing the teaching of martial arts in several low-income neighborhoods.
enjoys the development of innovative programs aimed at enabling persons to do for themselves and become self-reliant/sufficient.
In addition to his
position as Secretary on the Board of Directors to the Jacksonville Public Education Fund
