Endorsed by the pro-referendum group Building Exceptional Schools Together, or BEST, three candidates have coalesced into a slate: Huntley residents R. Glen Stewart, Shawn Green and Roger Henderson
...Henderson, a hardware store manager, said he wants to restore trust in the school board that has corroded through public dissent in recent months.
"We are not going to be a BEST board," Henderson
said."We are going to be a board that stands for the community."
Stewart, an engineer and active BEST member, said he
favors deficit reduction and school funding reform.
