Roger Creech
Roger Creech is KHBR's morning man. You can catch him on the air from sign-on till 10 a.m. Monday through Saturday. He plays the best variety of country music...the hits of today and yesterday. Plus, he keeps you informed on the weather and has Hill County news at 7 and local news at 7:30 a.m. And, don't forget Creech is the host of the Tradin' Post Show, Monday thru Friday, from 8 to 8:30 a.m. where you can buy, sell, trade, or give-a-way. Roger can also be heard on various sports shows, like Hill College Rebels Baseball or Hillsboro Eagles sports. Roger has lived in Hillsboro since 1996 and is happily married (since 1998) to Laurie, aka "Lollie", and they have three kids, two beautiful daughters, Karaline (born May 30, 2000) Kelsey (born June 18, 2003) and one son, Conner (born July 18, 2007). They also have a wonderful dalmation, Margo and beagle, Scooby. Roger grew up and graduated from high school in Maypearl. He went on graduate from Cedar Valley College in Lancaster, Texas. He began his radio career at KBEC 1390 AM in Waxahachie before coming to KHBR. He has also worked at 96.3 KSCS in Dallas - Ft. Worth. Roger's claim to fame was that he called the state basketball tournament on KBEC when his mighty Maypearl Panthers came up short in the championship in 1995 and being friends with the legendary Willie Nelson. Roger is Program Director and Music Director for KHBR Radio. He's also involved in sales with KHBR and The Reporter Newspaper.
