Rodni Williams, a guest choreographer for the fall dance concert, Transcendance, visits EHS this week to teach an open class for all dancers, and to rehearse with the students in preparation for the performances on November 14-15.
Williams, an assistant professor at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, brings a wealth of talent and expertise to EHS. He is a former student and teacher at the Ailey School, and has danced with distinguished companies such as the Dayton Contemporary Dance Company, Joseph Holmes Chicago Dance Theater, Dance Miami Dance Company, and Wylliams/Henry Dance Theatre. Williams has also performed in theatrical productions throughout the United States, including PBS Chicago's Love in Four Acts and a tour of FAME the Musical.
