Rodger and Connie Floyd, owners of the funeral home, were married on June 23, 1973 in Peru, Kansas and to this marriage three children, Jason, Tammy and Mandy were born. Rodger served his apprenticeship with the Luginbuel Funeral Home and received his Funeral Director and Embalmer's license in September of 1979. In March of 1980, Rodger and Connie moved to Cushing where Rodger worked for Leo Davis at the Davis Funeral Home. Following the death of Leo Davis, in July of 1984, Rodger and Connie Floyd purchased the funeral home from the Davis family and have been the owners or managers of the funeral home since that time.
Our funeral home has two licensed funeral directors and embalmers, Rodger Floyd and Mandy Floyd-Lemmon.
