Robin's duties include teaching, preaching and leading the Senior Saints Ministry.
He has served as a pastor since 1976, four years after he was converted.
recalls: "I met a Christian family in 1972 who exemplified the love of Christ in their relationships with one another.
Because of their example, their proclamation of the good news was compelling, and I gave my life to Christ."
At 24, Robin heeded a call to become a pastor.
He left his job as a housepainter in 1974 and was ordained in 1976 to serve as an associate pastor at Christ Church of Washington.
Robin joined Covenant Life Church in 1979.
He was ordained here in 1981 and was the first principal of Covenant Life School.
In 1982, he was sent to plant a church in Lancaster, Pa., serving as senior pastor.
and wife Clara returned in 1990, his
duties included building the biblical counseling and children's ministries.
grew up in Silver Spring, Md.
He has a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pa., and is a graduate of its Center for Urban Theological Studies in Philadelphia.
interests include golf, reading, and classical music, but he
and Clara take greatest joy in their growing family of four children and (currently) three grandchildren.
Greg moved to Gaithersburg and joined Covenant Life Church in 1987, eventually leading a Care Group and being encouraged by Robin Boisvert and others to explore a calling for pastoral ministry.
