Mr. Roberto de Michele has been Principal Policy Officer, Office of Institutional Integrity, Inter-American Development Bank, since 2004.
Prior to that, he was Director of Policy Planning in the Anti-Corruption Office of Argentina.
During his tenure there, he served as the specialist designated to the Committee of Experts for the Mechanism for Follow-up on Implementation of the Inter-American Convention against Corruption.
also participated in the United Nations Informal Preparatory Meeting of the Special Committee
to Negotiate a Convention against Corruption.
While in private practice, he was a partner at Bohmer, de Michele & Saba, Abogados, and worked as an attorney for Moreno Ocampo, Abogados & Consultores.
Moreover, he has been a consultant with the United Nations, the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the Open Society Institute, Transparency International, the Ethics Resource Center, the Chr.

From 1991 to 1993 he was Manager of the Private Initiative for the Control of Corruption, Fundación Poder Ciudadano, Transparency International Chapter in Argentina.
Roberto de Michele obtained his law degree from the University of Buenos Aires and his LL.M. from Yale Law School.
