Roberto Roth was born into the music business.His parents were the famous German singing duo "Adam & Eve" who dominated the German music scene in the 70's and early 80's.Roberto has been a musician his entire life.He plays the piano and the guitar and also happens to be a very good singer.Born in Germany and having lived in the U.S. for 12 years he speaks fluent German and English.
Roberto attended Bonn High School in Bonn, Germany where he studied Music Ballet and General Education.He then went on to be a music major at Bonn College.Following college he spent two years in the German Armed Forces.After his years of service he jumped right back into the music business.At first he worked for his parents performing writing and production duties.His other responsibilities included composition and organization of performances and overseeing sound checks, lighting, wardrobe and road crews.
He eventually felt the need to venture out on his own and ended up in Köln, Germany working for Homeyer & Weber Studios.There he performed production duties and his talents as an engineer started being utilized.At Homeyer & Weber he was responsible for sorting out compositions for future productions, composing musical arrangements, coordinating studio musicians and handling sales.From there he ventured to Cape Town, South Africa where he worked for UCA Studios as a producer and engineer on
various commercials for radio and television.His responsibilities also included video production, the releasing of publicity photos, arranging wardrobe and sales.He returned home for a year and soon set his sights on the U.S..
Roberto moved to Chicago from Germany and joined forces with Hayassam Boumoujahed (Sam) to start his own recording studio, Supersound Production and Recording Studio.By 1994 the studio had expanded into a new location as a 24 track full production and recording facility.Roberto held the top engineer position and performed all maintenance and tech duties.During this time Roberto engineered and produced album projects and corporate commercials and had a very large client base.Inevitably, his talents pulled him into bigger opportunities overseas.
Upon returning to Germany, Roberto was offered the position of engineer and studio manager of Adam Schairer Music Productions in Henneff, Germany, a multi-million dollar digital facility, where he still presides.He has worked with people like Dieter Deirks, producer of the Scorpions, and Connie Plank, producer of the Eurythmics (Annie Lennox).Today he is also a freelance sound engineer and producer currently on contract with Edition Sieg-Ton Musikverlags GmbH (Inc.).
