Bob and his wife Jill are very active civically in the Tulsa, Oklahoma community where they reside. Nationally, Bob is a former member of the Alzheimer's Association board of directors; his service there ended full term in 2009. He is one of the founding board members of AIM, established in 2010, and serves as its treasurer. Bob also serves on the executive board of the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA).

Recognizing a nationwide need for quality senior care, the company's focus permanently shifted toward senior housing in 1989. Senior Star's portfolio includes 14 retirement communities across six states, offering independent and assisted living, skilled nursing and memory support to 2,200 senior residences.
Fueled by a passion to help end Alzheimer's disease, Bob served on the Alzheimer's Association National Board of Directors from 2000-2009. In 2009, he acted as a founding board member for the Alzheimer's Impact Movement, where he continues to serve as Treasurer. A dedicated lobbyist, he routinely travels to our nation's capital to promote increased Alzheimer's research funding. He will chair the 2015 Alzheimer's Association Oklahoma Chapter Memory Gala, an event known as being among the top three fundraisers of its kind, nationwide.
Bob holds advisory board positions at the benefit of the American Seniors Housing Association and LIFE Senior Services. He chaired capital campaigns for the 2002 Tulsa Area United Way effort, as well as for the 2000 and 2013 LIFE Senior Services efforts. He functioned as Tulsa Area United Way Board Chair in 2003 and Tulsa Opera Ball Patron Chair in 2002.
From the National Alzheimer's Association, Bob received the 2010 Maureen Reagan Outstanding Advocate Award. He received the 2000 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser and the 2007 Outstanding Philanthropist awards from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Eastern Oklahoma Chapter. His alma mater, the University of Tulsa, named Bob their 2011 Outstanding Entrepreneur, at which time he was inducted into the Collins College of Business Hall of Fame. He resides in Tulsa with his wife Jill.

Bill currently serves on boards of trustees for the American Seniors Housing Association (ASHA), Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Sooner Chapter, Philbrook Museum of Art (Philbrook), and University of Tulsa. Susan & Bill then chaired the 2012 & 2014 Philbrook Wine Experiences, placing the event into one of the top three fundraisers of its kind, nationwide. Longtime Tulsa Area United Way board members, Bill & Bob chaired the 2002 TAUW capital campaign, raising a record-breaking $25 million in the midst of the country's financial crisis; the following year, the pair served as board co-chairs of TAUW. Bill & Bob also chaired the 2000 & 2013 LIFE Senior Services capital campaigns, exceeding the fundraising goals in one-half the projected time.
Among Bill's most significant contributions to Tulsa is his seven-year term of board service to the Housing Authority of the City of Tulsa, which included his chairpersonship of HOPE VI, a Public Housing Revitalization Program. This $60 million public-private undertaking eliminated 1940s vintage housing and made way for "Country Club Gardens," 396 units of exceptional residential apartments for low income & market rate housing.
The Retired Senior Volunteer Program of Tulsa recognized Bill & Bob in granting them their 2001 Leadership Award. They also were recipients of the 2000 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser and the 2007 Outstanding Philanthropist awards from the Association of Fundraising Professionals Eastern Oklahoma Chapter. The University of Tulsa named Bill & Bob their 2011 Outstanding Entrepreneurs, inducting them into the Collins College of Business Hall of Fame. Bill became a Certified Public Accountant in 1977 (Missouri), following the receipt of his Bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Tulsa in 1974. He resides in Tulsa with his wife Susan.

Mr. Thomas has chaired fundraising campaigns for the middle and senior high schools his children attended and chaired a major capital campaign to build two adult day centers in Tulsa. He and his brother, Bill chaired the Tulsa Area United Way Campaign in 2002 producing the highest campaign on record and increased Alexis De Tocqueville membership by 25 percent. He is also a long-standing Board Member of the Oklahoma Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and a Board Member of the Tulsa Community Foundation, the largest of its kind in the nation.
Mr. Thomas served on the Oklahoma/Arkansas Alzheimer's Association Chapter Board for more than 10 years. He previously served on the National Alzheimer's Association's Development Committee, Public Policy Committee and Governance and Nominating Task Force.
