Robert Skrocki
Robert Skrocki, Faith Community Consultant Robert Skrocki is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker recently retired after a career of 36 years in a public health and community mental health setting at DuPage County Health Department, Mental Health Services. He is a certified trainer in Mental Health First Aid, and in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. He has a Master's In Social Work, a certificate in Organizational Development from Benedictine University, and clinical pastoral education training as part of a program at Meadville Lombard Theological School. He has a special interest in how faith communities can help support the recovery of persons with mental illnesses. He is chair of the Interfaith Mental Health Coalition, a suburban collar county organization working to connect faith leaders to mental health resources, and also chairs the national level Pathways to Promise organization that is helping promote mental health training coalitions for faith communities all over the country. He consults to faith communities and has taught the Pathways to Promise Mental Health 101 course. He is a Unitarian Universalist lay community minister, and is active as both board chair and co-coordinator of the Pastoral Ministry Associates at DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church in Naperville, Illinois.

On March 16, 2015, the Three Rivers District celebrated Social Work Month by honoring Robert Skrocki, LCSW with the Lifetime Achievement award, Ellen Carbonell, LCSW with the Social Work of the Year award, and VaLarie Humphrey with the Public Citizen of the Year award.
Lifetime Achievement Award: Robert Skrocki Robert Skrocki (MSW, University of Illinois at Chicago; LCSW) spent thirty-seven years at DuPage County Health Department, Mental Health Services, where he provided direct clinical services, supervision, and management in programs serving children, youth, and adults that emphasized collaboration across the child welfare, special education, justice, and behavioral healthcare service systems. He is now working as a faith community consultant and care ministry development coordinator at Samaritan Center for Congregations. He continues his work as communications coordinator for the Interfaith Mental Health Coalition. He chairs the board for the Pathways to Promise organization that is helping promote mental health training coalitions for faith communities all over the country.
