BELLEVILLE - Robert "Bob" J. Notestine, 87, of Valley View Retirement Community, Belleville, died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Valley View Haven, Belleville.
Also surviving are: a sister, Dorothy Leonard, of Ohesson Manor; niece, Susan (Leonard) Clark and husband, Dennis; children, Debra Yoder and Mike; nephew, Thomas Leonard; and other extended nieces and nephews, Todd, Dee Ann, Michael, Deborah, Larry, Joy, Connie, Virginia, Gloria, Bob and Patricia. Bob also had an extended family of great nieces and nephews. Bob worked in the Mifflin County Veterans Office, Lewistown Trust Company and Department of Revenue. Bob was a graduate of Lewistown High School. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served during World War II, the Korean War and the Vietnam War. He retired as a Chief Master Sergeant with the U.S. Air Force, with 20 years of service. He was a member of Lewistown Presbyterian Church, Air Force Sergeant Association and former member of Elks No. 663.
