Recently, in collaboration with Robert Kubin, President of Elite Coaching Consultants, LLC., Dr. Barrette has completed a Smart Sport Guide for Coaches and Kids for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Palm Beach County.
Robert E. Kubin Mr. Robert E. Kubin has more than 25 years experience training all levels of athletes and coaches, designing and implementing training programs, creating a positive athletic culture and optimizing results through a progressional approach to excellence and higher standards. Bob started his professional coaching career while studying manufacturing engineering at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. While attending Bradley, Bob was also a member of the Bradley University Cheerleading Squad as a toss-and-catch man and tumbler. After leaving Bradley, Bob continued his professional coaching career as a high-level Optional Team gymnastics coach in the prestigious Region 5 Gymnastics Region. He has worked with several of the most respected coaches in the country, including Todd Gardner and Don McPhearson. During his 25 year career, Bob created and refined coaching programs, curriculum development and gym management techniques in such high level cubs as American Academy of Gymnastics, United States Gymnastics Center, Gymnastics Spot, Ultimate Gymnastics and Elgin Gymnastics Training Center. In 1999, Bob founded Progressive Movements Gymnastics Academy in McHenry, Illinois and developed and implemented programs in gymnastics, power tumbling and cheer. He expanded into a 15,000 square foot facility three years later, which he designed, engineered and built, in Johnsburg, Illinois. This gym trained 700 students per week and employed a full time staff of 17. From 2005 - 2008, Bob was a National Team Coach, and was an Illinois Gymnastics Institute Head Clinician for five years. Over Bob's career, he was consistently involved in Region 5 Gymnastics as a head clinician, implementing coaching techniques and philosophies and training Level 8, 9, 10 and elite gymnasts and their coaches. He is widely regarded as one of the top gymnastics coaches in the country. In 2009, Bob founded Elite Coaching Consultants to translate his extensive success in gymnastics to other sports. He now focuses on educating coaches, parents and athletes across all sports on the advantages of positive, progressional training. In collaboration with Dr. Gary Barrette, Bob recently developed a Smart Sport Guide for Coaches and Kids for the Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County, and created a guide for practice optimization and positive cultural change for the SEFL Lauderhill Panthers. Bob serves on the board of the Florence De George Boys & Girls Club and is a member of the Advisory Board of Yorktown University. He has been a United States of America Gymnastics professional member for over 20 years, is safety certified, and continues to coach high level gymnasts and provides clinics and consultation for competitive gymnastics clubs in South Florida.

Bob Kubin and Dr. Gary T. Barrette of ECC offered applicable training in various areas that included "Cultural Change", "Principles of Training", "Team Building Techniques", "Problem Solving", "Communication", "Game Planning" and "Goal Setting", etc.
Kubin and Mollo then did a formal presentation to the SEFL Executive Board and league owners at their July 17th meeting this past summer. "The implementation of culture change is no easy task", said Kubin, President of ECC.
