experience covers all major structural materials and systems, including structural steel, reinforced concrete, precast/prestressed concrete, post-tensioned concrete, masonry and timber.He
provides expertise in structural analysis, condition assessment and documentation, material evaluation, structural load testing, repair/strengthening design, and development of construction details, requirements and working drawings.Projects have included railroad and highway bridges, movable bridges, transit structures, industrial buildings and structures, institutional, commercial and residential buildings, medium and high-rise buildings, and parking decks.Prior to joining RRJ in 1986, Mr. Kritzler
worked at American Bridge Division, U. S. Steel Corporation for sixteen years, where experience also included erection sequence procedures and analyses for long-span bridges.
Mr. Kritzler's educational background includes a Master of Science in Civil Engineering (Structures Program), Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago, Illinois, 1990 and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Bradley University, Peoria, Illinois, 1970.He
is a licensed Structural Engineer in Illinois and registered Professional Engineer in Indiana and California.His
involvement in professional activities include the American Railway Engineering Association (AREA), Committee 15 - Steel Structures ; American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI).
