B-Line Transport Connections Coordinator, Robert Kretschmer said the Raywood to Eaglehawk bus service has significantly improved transport access and inclusion for the Raywood, Neilborough, Sebastian and Woodvale communities.
"The trial is the result of extensive community consultation processes undertaken with these communities in 2008. In order to further demonstrate the value of the service it is important that we continue to increase its use during the review period.' "It's also timely to remind current users and potential new users of the benefits the service offers. These include free connections on the Bendigo bus network and a loyalty card initiative that is available on the bus," said Mr Kretschmer. B-Line will provide further information as soon as the outcomes of the review process are known. B-Line is a partnership between the City of Greater Bendigo and the Shire of Loddon to help communities work together to improve local transport options. B-Line is funded through the State Government's Transport Connections Program.
