Robert Klabacka started the National Institute for Concrete Construction in 1959.
Since then, Robert's six sons have carried on the family tradition of offering high quality, vocational training programs in a variety of different industries and subjects. Robert Klabacka instilled a number of fundamental principles in his sons that have been the key to the success of the organization. These principles are the motto of the business: Quality, Integrity and Pride. In 1963, Robert Klabacka opened the Diesel Truck Driver Training School on eighty acres of land about ten miles from Madison, Wisconsin.

Matt is the youngest of Robert Klabacka's six son's.
Robert was the founder of the National Institute of Concrete Construction in 1959. Soon after Robert Klabacka's death, Matt founded the National Association of Heavy Equipment Training Schools, NAHETS.

The Klabacka family organization has operated on Robert's key principles from the very beginning. Robert Klabacka - Founder, Associated Training Services Robert Klabacka founded the Diesel Truck Driver Training School in 1963. The school is still located on the same fifty-acre tract of land near Madison, Wisconsin. In 1996, Associated Training Services (ATS) spun off from Diesel Truck Driver Training School and today is still affiliated with the school. Since then, the school has expanded into other training areas, has achieved national recognition, and has established key relationships with government agencies and other training institutions and funding organizations. Today, Robert Klabacka's three sons, John Jerry and Michael operate ATS and its affiliated organizations.
