Robert W. (Bob) Duke, CPA, CFP Partner-in-Charge of the Fort Worth office, senior tax partner in the Fort Worth office, and Director of Taxation for the firm.
entered public accounting in 1974 and joined our firm in 1983.
He holds BS degrees from Abilene Christian University and an MPA in taxation from the University of Texas at Austin.
expertise in the field of taxation covers private foundations and other not-for-profit organizations, partnerships, corporations, trusts and estates, tax planning for business acquisitions and dispositions as well as succession planning.
Much of his
practice has involved various aspects of the oil and gas industry and, particularly, large family groups with multiple entities in the oil and gas business.
Bob has also served as an expert witness in cases involving tax litigation.
Bob is a member of the AICPA, the TSCPA, The Financial Planning Association and the Fort Worth Business and Estate Council.
He has served on the board of the Funding Information Center as Treasurer and as a member of its Executive Committee and has been Chairman of the Board of the Matthew 28 Foundation.
He is a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Worth, the Fort Worth Petroleum Club and the Fort Worth Wildcatters Club.
