Over the period for which it was given the award, Caslen said the civilians and Army personnel working side by side in the BCTP developed a "total force" training program for Army personnel as well as reserve and National Guard members.
"You do it so professionally, you do it as a team player, you are unbelievable, and I could not be more grateful for what you do," he
is a program that Caslen
himself had first-hand experience with.
admitted that it was tough - sleepless nights were the order of the day.
"The fact that you have received this award says volumes about not only your character but your contributions to our Army
and to the units that you prepare for battle," Caslen
"And that's truly a remarkable thing."
Sacrifices are made both by those working in the program as well as their loved ones, according to Caslen
