At the March 15th City Council meeting, Robert Ard, Pastor of Christ Church of San Diego and a member of the Executive Committee of The Interfaith Committee for Worker Justice (ICWJ), read a statement to the Mayor and City Council Members requesting that the LWO be docketed for consideration at a future City Council meeting.As he made this plea, Rev. Ard (see photo at left) was surrounded by a group of more than 60 supporters from the ICWJ and San Diego Organizing Project.
