He is the founding pastor of Grace Community United Methodist Church in Shreveport, Louisiana, has served as Director of Congregational Development & Transformation in the Louisiana Conference, and is a frequent speaker and teacher at the churches and conferences across the United States and abroad.
is a native of Atlanta Georgia and has lived in multiple regions of the U.S., as well as in Germany and England.
On the way to becoming a pastor, he
has worked in a wide variety of settings, including construction, cooking, waiting tables, and counseling.
This diversity of experience gives him a specific passion for people who are not involved in the church, an understanding of their needs, and a fresh, humorous, down-to-earth style of communicating.
Rob is an adjunct instructor of practical theology at Phillips Theological Seminary where he teaches a course of evangelism, discipleship formation, and congregational development.
