So actually, it's a crisis proof business: Rob Bekkers, Managing Director of the PAYER Group, acknowledges this, "Hair never stops growing!
"There will definitely not be any cutbacks", confirmed Bekkers
And because of the strong order situation, there may even be an increase.
The calculation is simple: the more hair cutting devices produced in China and Hungary, the more blades are needed.
And they come from Styria; in the medium term at least - for Bekkers
warns against too high salary increases in the electrical trade: "We have to be careful here or it may be advantageous to relocate operations abroad".
Only the blade production located here could be affected.
"Know-how in terms of research and development cannot be transferred", said Bekkers
In the previous year alone, an investment of 3.1 million Euros was made at the headquarters in Austria in leading edge products and technologies.
