She is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and is currently a member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA) based in USA, Lactation Advisor and Consultants Association in Malaysia and the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA).
She has been a strong breastfeeding advocate and has vast experience in helping new nursing mothers and also those with nursing difficulties to successfully breastfeed and has been a breastfeeding advocate since 2001.
