Rita Cossa
Rita Cossa is an Assistant Professor in the Strategic Management area in the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. A faculty member since 1999, she teaches Business Environment & Organization and Business Policy & Strategic Management. Rita has also taught introduction to marketing courses at both the undergraduate and MBA levels, as well as Marketing in the Non-Profit Sector. Teaching highlights include a nomination to TVOntario's Best Lecturer Competition, multiple nominations for a McMaster Student Union Teaching Award, and notations in the Maclean's Guide to Canadian Universities as a Popular Prof for Marketing. Rita is a co-author for Understanding Canadian Business, Seventh Edition, the best-selling introduction to business textbook in the Canadian university and college market. Past publications include student and instructor supplements such as marketing study guides, running cases, and test banks. Prior to her teaching career, Rita held several management-level positions in the financial services industry.

Hunter recently earned her PhD in cultural studies and critical theory at McMaster, where she studied representations of gender in recent American films that focus on the "plight" of the 1990s white male office worker.She has taught at McMaster University, Wilfred Laurier University, and Mohawk College.Her writing has been published in The Journal of American Culture, Mosaic, Film-Philosophy, Film and History, Politics and Culture, Canadian Literature and The Globe and Mail.
