has collaborated with and been trusted advisor to entrepreneurs and executives across four continents.He
has consulted with diverse clients from small business to the Fortune 100 and in multiple industries such as automotive, metals, process industries, health care, paper and pulp, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, technology, transportation, financial services, retailing, and the public sector.Prior to joining Right Management, Richard was with IBM Corporation where he spearheaded Executive and Organizational Development strategy and execution for the Server and Personal Systems Groups.In that capacity, he was the personal leadership coach for senior level executives and provided thought leadership in building ambidextrous organization capability to grow share of current markets while responding to emerging opportunities.Much of his work at IBM focused on helping executives enhance performance by energizing their organizational climate and leveraging their portfolio of managerial styles.In addition to leading his own consulting practice, Richard served in management and consulting roles for Development Dimensions International (DDI), where he was responsible for regenerating their senior level leadership development system.Richard
provided consulting and development leadership in designing DDI's
process for enabling client transformation to high involvement cultures.In addition, he
collaborated with Robert E. Kelley in refining his
performance enhancement process for knowledge workers that facilitated as much as 400% performance improvement at Bell Laboratories
.Formerly, Richard was a member of the adjunct graduate and undergraduate faculty at Duquesne University and a member of IBM's Strategic Leadership Forum at the Harvard University Business School.Past national president or the Epsilon Delta Epsilon honor society, he earned his Bachelor's Degree at Rider College and his Master's Degree at Temple University.
