Meet the CEO: Richard Woo

been at this work.
Before joining The Russell Family Foundation in 2000, Richard worked for nearly twelve years at Levi Strauss & Co. in San Francisco in community relations, corporate social responsibility and philanthropy.

Earlier in his
spent fourteen years working on community health and youth development in Northern California nonprofit organizations.
Richard serves on the board of directors of Philanthropy Northwest and is a member of the Visiting Committee for the Masters in Nonprofit Leadership Program at Seattle University.
He is a past board member of Northern California Grantmakers, Asian American and Pacific Islanders in Philanthropy and the Council on Foundations.
