FOND DU LAC, Wis. (May 25, 2001) - Mercury Marine's Dick Snyder, director of product safety engineering, is the first recipient of an Honorary Lifetime Membership on the U.S. Coast Guard's National Boating Safety Advisory Council.
This honor was awarded by Adm.
has attended every council meeting for the past 14 years.Snyder
also recently received the National Association of State Boating Law Adminstrators'
(NASBLA) Lifetime Achievement Award for his
devotion to recreational boating safety.He
has been involved with NASBLA
for many years, and has served on several of its committees.Snyder
is the first recipient of this coveted award.
