Dr Orlan is married and has family members all over the world. He and his wife, who is an artist and craftsperson, are raising two pure bred Border Terriers from international championship pedigree.

At this free seminar, Dr. Orlan will discuss the physiologic changes of aging briefly and focus on the aging brain. Dr. Orlan is a new physician on the BMH medical staff with a specialty in geriatrics , the practice which studies the aging process in humans. Dr. Orlan will offer short introductions to memory loss in general, cognitive impairment, dementia, and Alzheimer's disease. Treatments of memory loss, including both traditional and non-traditional, will be discussed.
