INDIANAPOLIS, Aug 02, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Republic Airways Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET) today announced the appointment of Richard W. Meyer as vice president of human resources.
A highly experienced leader and hands-on generalist in all areas of human resources, Meyer brings more than 30 years of professional experience in small, medium and large public and private companies to the position. He spent 13 years with Cummins, followed by four years providing a full range of human resources consulting services throughout Central Indiana. He then served for nearly 20 years as vice president of human resources and then senior vice president of employee relations for the former ATA Airlines, with responsibility for all aspects of both human resources and labor relations.
Meyer holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and completed the Program for Management Development Executive Education at Harvard Graduate School of Business.
