COLUMBUS, Miss., Feb. 9, 2011 - Dr. Richard Mendel, a neurological surgeon with Baptist Memorial Medical Group, recently began practicing medicine at Baptist Memorial Medical Group-Golden Triangle Spine & Neurosurgery.
Mendel, who is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, has also joined the medical staff at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle.

After earning his bachelor's degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Mendel attended the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where he obtained his medical degree.
