, native Californian, resides in Woodside, California with his
wife, Matilde of 36 years.He
has six children, five boys and one girl. Dick attended college at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and then he joined the United States Air Force to serve a four year engagement.After the Air Force, Dick joined the Peace Corps and served 2-1/2 years in Colombia, South America. His business career began at Pacific Telephone, later known as Pacific Bell.

of San Mateo, which was the original company that Collection Bureau of America

had 5 employees when Dick
purchased the business, and it has grown to over 200 employees from 1974 to 2004. Currently, Dick is Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Collection Bureau of America located in Hayward.He sits on several boards and organizations including the Board of Regents for St. Mary's College; founding director of Trust to Borel Private Bank and the Junipero Serra High School Board.Dick is a past president of San Mateo Rotary Club, of which he has been a member since 1968. Dick
has an appetite for speed, and a love for cars, which marry together when he
races and tours vintage automobiles all over the world.This passion for cars bleeds over into his
business philosophies, and gives him the energy and drive to keep a well oiled revenue recovery company moving forward into the future.
