Richard (Rich) Combs has 30 years of entrepreneurial and operational experience in the industrial equipment markets.
He was the Founder and President of Pureflow Ultraviolet, Inc., a Gwinnett County business, which was sold to an international acquirer after 21 years of operation.
Currently, he is CEO of Excella International Corporation, a developer and distributor of high technology fluid treatment products.
Mr. Combs brings along 12 years of Director experience in the banking industry.
He was an organizer and Director of Gwinnett Banking Company for 10 years, prior to its acquisition by First Charter Bank.
He then joined First Charter and served until they were acquired by Fifth Third Bank.
While at Gwinnett Banking Company, Mr. Combs served on the Executive Committee, the Loan Committee, and was Chairman of the Audit Committee.
At First Charter Bank, he served on the Loan Committee and the Trust Committee.
A North Carolina native, Mr. Combs earned a BS in Engineering Science from Old Dominion University, and an MBA from Georgia State University.
