Richard Ceroni also faces one count of making a false statement. The Ceronis were co-founders Carnegie Career College. Around 2002, Richard Ceroni applied with the Department of Education to participate in the federal student financial aid (SFA) program. That application was approved in December 2003, according to the indictment.
