Beginning in 2010 The Edge will help Pastor Rich Sivernell begin a brand new church in the Stapleton area of Denver.
Since earlier this year Pastor Rich and I have been praying and strategizing about how to reach the Stapleton area of urban Denver. This newly developed area is one of the most talked about areas of Denver. Thousands of young professionals have flocked to Stapleton area over the past few years as the city of Denver has transformed its old airport into an attractive master planned community complete with shops, houses, condos and other modern amenities. While it may seem odd to start a church before a church is a fully functioning congregation,The Edge has moved forward with a strategy to start a total of 10 churches in Colorado over the next five years. Pastor Rich is the first of several other church planters that will be working alongside me to reach Denver.
