Tampa Bay Chapter VP Information Technology Ricardo Figueroa Ricardo was born in Acapulco Mexico, he earned a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from ITESM (Tecnologico de Monterrey) and a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the same University. While getting his Master of Science he worked for AT&T during the opening of the Telecommunications market in Mexico coordinating the engineering and implementation of the first Fiber Optic network in the country. He moved to the United States to obtain his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas at Austin (McCombs School of Business). After graduation, he began working for Citigroup as a Management Associate in the Global Engineering and Financial Control Departments. Ricardo is currently in charge of the Network Economics department for Citigroup Technology that oversees the inventory and cost control for thousands of circuits. He also supports the process re-engineering and application development functions for Citigroup Voice Operations in North America. Ricardo likes spending time with his wife and 3 children. In his spare team he volunteers at his Church.
