His expertise spans the areas of strategy, operations, sales, and marketing and he has extensive experience advising senior executives in the financial services, metals and mining, biotech, petrochemicals, software, high-tech, and non-profit sectors.
Geographically, Rex has lived and worked in Europe and Africa and has regularly led executive workshops in Singapore, New York, London, Amsterdam, and Johannesburg.
Formerly, Rex led several practices at the Corporate Executive Board, including the Operations Council, the Sales Leadership Roundtable and the Marketing Leadership Roundtable.
In this capacity, he
was responsible for the development of best practices, tools, diagnostics, and executive seminars for companies from around the globe.
has authored numerous studies on subjects such as: the application of Six Sigma to service environments; process outsourcing; and operational risk management.
Rex is also a former McKinsey & Company management consultant where he was a member of the firm's Financial Services Information and Technology Group.
Rex holds an MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a BA in Economics from the College of William & Mary where he earned membership to Phi Beta Kappa.
