Rex Tripp
Rex Lee Tripp, 83, died Friday in a Las Vegas hospital.
He was born May 19, 1919, in Dunlap, Iowa.An Army Air Forces veteran of World War II, he was a retired airline pilot, a member of the Las Vegas Branch of Quiet Bird Men, a member of the Green Valley Elks Club and a 14-year resident of Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Eva of Henderson; sister, Eleanor Vedder of El Centro, Calif.; and stepsister, Jean Blumenthal of Porterville, Calif.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at Palm Mortuary-Eastern.The family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
