Dr. Rebecca (Orr) Lauffenburger has long maintained a special interest in children's vision and vision therapy, and while at OSU
received the prestigious Award of Excellence in Vision Therapy.
In addition to serving the children of the area, Dr. Lauffenburger
enjoys treating patients of all ages.
From emergency treatment of eye injuries to chronic care of dry eyes, she
enjoys the variety of care our office provides on a daily basis.
Dr. Lauffenburger is a cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry, also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with Honors from Ohio State.
Also a graduate of Waynedale High School
, Dr. Lauffenburger
grew up in Apple Creek, and is the proud daughter of Jim and Suzy Orr.
Dr. Lauffenburger is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, the College of Optometrists in Vision Development, and Wooster Noon Lions Club.
is also a presenter of the Realeyes
program, which educates school children on the importance of eye care.
Each school year, Dr. Lauffenburger
enjoys speaking to over 600 kids in our Wayne County schools.
