...Rebecca DukeJanuary 10, 2007 - Rebecca L. Duke, MD, has been appointed assistant professor of otolaryngology and communication sciences at the Medical College of Wisconsin, and to the medical staffs of Froedert Hospital, Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and the V.A. Medical Center , Milwaukee, major teaching affiliates of the Medical College. Dr. Duke is also a member of the Medical College Physicians and the Children's Specialty Group, the College's more than 900-member practice groups caring for adult and children.She
treats disorders of the ear, nose, and throat both clinically and surgically.She cares for patients of all ages and believes that the relationship between the physician and patient is crucial to the quality of care.She
ensures that her
patients have a full understanding of their medical problems and the treatment options available to them.In addition to her teaching and patient care responsibilities, Dr. Duke also holds positions on several national committees for the American Academy of Otolaryngology including the Board of Governors for the Big on Goals committee and Women in Otolaryngology committee.
A native of Kettering, Ohio, she
residency in otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin
.She completed her medical degree at the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill.Dr. Duke received her bachelor degree, summa cum laude, at Ohio Wesleyan University.
