Tall, distinguished yet folically challenged Ray Lucioni, has joined the Lords Estate Agents Management team.
Born in 1960, Ray
has been an estate agent since the tender age of 18 years old when he
joined a small company called Alexander Waugh in Ewell Road, Tolworth. It was a job that he
had always been keen to do and Ray
found that he
really enjoyed dealing with the people in the area and the buzz of putting a good sale together.Regrettably the Alexander Waugh partnership broke up and Ray
joined one of the most dynamic estate agents in the area at the time, Redman & Co
, who built up over 20 offices in under 10 years and who, during the 1980's were the leading brand name throughout North Surrey.Ray
spent 12 years at Redman's starting at junior level and working right up to senior management, eventually taking control of the flagship Kingston office. It was here, in fact, that Ray met Guy Hodge, Managing Director of Lords Estate Agents when they worked together of the 1980's, becoming part of a very formidable sales team.
was always seen as the guy to beat in the Kingston office" said Guy Hodge, "He had a fantastic memory for property and clients and people loved dealing with him."
Inevitably, Redman & Co
disappeared under the surge of buyouts carried out by the insurance companies in the late 1980's and Ray
decided at that time to continue his
career with good local independent agencies rather than with the large corporate firms.Ray
was offered an opportunity to go back to his roots in Tolworth with one of the area's most popular firms at that time, Greenfield & Co
, which ironically, were based in the same office as his first posting with Alexander Waugh.
felt that he
wanted to move the company forward with greater emphasis on internet coverage and customer service and decided that he
would establish his
own company, Property Ladder.Property Ladder became very successful very quickly, and having traded for three years, Ray
could see a benefit of becoming part of a slightly larger local independent agency chain in order to promote additional leads and business enquiries.
Whilst a loose association has existed between Lords and Property Ladder for some time, Guy Hodge and Ray Lucioni
decided to formalise this and merge Property Ladder into the Lords network.
is very excited about continuing his career in Tolworth having spent most of his married life there with his silver wedding due next year and having put his three sons all through local schools from junior to senior level.
