Randy Schlegel, borough mayor and treasurer of the water/sewer authority, was replaced July 2 as operator of the 10-year-old plant at the DEP's request.Donald J. Clouser, municipal authority chairman, said that when the DEP demanded a new operator be hired, Schlegel offered to leave the post.
