TAMPA - A judge this morning refused to increase bail for a driver blamed for a chain-reaction crash on Florida Avenue that killed two women Monday.
Hillsborough County Circuit Judge Walter Heinrich set bail at $75,000 for Randy Archiquette
is charged with driving under the influence manslaughter, vehicular homicide and leaving the scene of a crash involving injury or death.
Within hours, prosecutors were back before Heinrich asking him to reconsider.
Assistant State Attorney Barbara Coleman said additional charges would be filed against Archiquette and that the bail should reflect that.
Heinrich also said Coleman could file a motion seeking to hold Archiquette
Coleman told the judge evidence is emerging that Archiquette
, of 12619 Bramfield Lane, Riverview, was involved in five crashes Monday.
