Randy is known in South Florida for his work as the Director of the School of Entertainment and Design Technology at Miami Dade College. His responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of the film, television, video, radio production, computer animation, graphic design, graphic arts, Internet design, photography technology, technical theatre, commercial music, music business, sound engineering, and sound reinforcement programs. Projects developed under his supervision or produced by the school include the Urban Entertainment Conference, the Made in Miami Film Festival, Miami International Film Festival's REEL Education Seminar Series, CableTAP -Miami's Public Access Cable Station, E-Latin Grammy Webcasts, Telemundo's Taller: Escritores, and partnerships with Indiana University Purdue School of Music and the Director's Guild of America.
