Mr Ramon Molina, a Career Diplomat from Spain, attained his Bachelors Degree in Philosophy in 1988 and went on to complete another Bachelors Degree in Law the following year, both from the University of Barcelona.Mr Molina won the Fulbright Scholarship to attain a Master of Arts in International Relations at the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (The Johns Hopkins University, Washington, D.C.) in 1991.He joined the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1993, and has served at the Ministry and, overseas, as Consul in Jerusalem, as well as Deputy Head of Mission at the Spanish Embassies in Gabon, Mauritania and Vietnam.He has also served as Senior Advisor at the Prime Minister's Office.He
has been decorated as Commander of Spanish Civil Merit
and Queen Isabella Orders, and distinguished with the Chilean Commander Star of Bernardo O'Higgins.
In addition to being fluent in Spanish, Catalan, French, Italian and English, he
can also express himself in German and Russian.Seconded to ASEF by the Spanish Government, Mr Molina holds the post of Director for People-to-People Exchange.He
leads a dynamic international team that aims to promote educational links, cross-cultural dialogue and interaction, resulting in solid networks for future cooperation among young leaders from Asia and Europe. Mr Molina
is married with two daughters.
