The renewed partnership wasannounced at a press conference held on April 4th, 2011 between Rami Malki, Head of Marketing andPublic Relations - Bank of Jordan and Khaled Haddad, Executive Producer at Jordan Pioneers.

Winners of the Banking Web Awards 2010 were announced at an award ceremony in Beirut which was attended by executives, managers and various stakeholders within the region's banking and financial sectors, as well as economists and journalists from all over the Arab world.

[Amman, July 2011] As part of the Bank of Jordan's community outreach tours, a group of its employees, headed by Rami Malki, the Bank's Marketing and Public Relations Manager, traveled to Al Karak, visiting local community centers and associations along the way.
This requires a recognition of our collective responsibility and a genuine will to bring about changes that empower people to their fullest potential," said Malki. As part of their tour, Bank employees spoke with young women working in a variety of crafts-based and homemade produce lines, learning of their challenges and exploring various ways of sustainably supporting their efforts to be productive members of their communities. Later on in the afternoon, Bank of Jordan employees met with children registered in the Islamic Center for the Care of Orphans Summer Camp, an initiative that aims to inclusively mix children from surrounding villages with orphans in the Center's care. "As one of the biggest banks in the Kingdom today, Bank of Jordan is committed to its role of sustainably reaching out and supporting local grass root organizations and to creating spaces for discussion and interaction between the private sector and local communities," Malki added.
