As a way to thank the racers for their support, Hester and his son Thomas, the track manager, throw a party on Saturday night each year of the event. "We started racing on Saturday and at the end of the night we had a racer party. We fed everyone, about 450 people. We had Spanish food, chicken, corn on the cob. We had a big time and we do that every year for them," Hester explained.

Famous for its racer hospitality, great racing and exciting racer parties, Ralph Hester's Immokalee Regional Raceway will once again host the Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour season opener the weekend of February 6-8 with a Wild Card race open to racers of all divisions. For those not able to make the trip to sunny Florida, IHRA and Summit Racing Equipment have again teamed up to fund the live webcast coverage of all Summit Pro Am tour events this season. Home viewers can click on the "Live Webcast" button on ihra.com homepage starting Friday. "Last season we re-set the standard for sportsman coverage. Over 100,000 viewers from 92 different countries watched our sportsman broadcasts last season" said IHRA Vice President Skooter Peaco. "Summit and IHRA are thrilled to lead the way in creating global exposure for IHRA sportsman racing and we know Ralph, Thomas and the Immokalee crew will start off the 2015 season on a high note." "No matter what division you call home, we welcome everyone here at Immokalee the first weekend in February," Hester said. The celebration is always one of the highlights for racers traveling to Immokalee and Hester hopes this year's celebration will be bigger than ever. "We have something in the works that will make this a very exciting gathering," Hester said. The Summit Pro-Am Tour season opener at Immokalee Regional Raceway will take place February 6-8 with the first winners of the young season putting themselves in the driver's seat toward a World Championship later in the year. With valuable Pro-Am points on the line, a fun racer party, warm weather and a great race to open the season, Ralph Hester and the rest of the Immokalee team look forward to welcoming racers back to the track in February. "We always have this event circled on our calendars and we can't wait to host all of the great racers on the Summit Pro-Am Tour once again this year," Hester said.
